Our next Flex Friday will be on Nov. 8. If a student is caught-up and has no credit recovery, they will be given a paper certificate that excuses them; if your student doesn't show you a certificate, they have to come on that Friday!

Check out our school calendar here. Approximately every other Friday is a staff day, no students. At least one Friday per month will be a student work day; students who are passing all classes and have no other work to do will be excused to stay home on those days. We hope this motivates students to stay caught-up.

Monday: Students dress as staff, staff dress as students
Tuesday: Mismatch day
Wednesday: Beach day
Thursday: Halloween costumes
Friday: NO SCHOOL :)

ERATS and the Transcend Program

In 2023, ERATS was selected as one of only 10 schools to partner with Transcend, a national education nonprofit organization, to be a part of their second cohort of the Rural Schools Design Community. This is a program where school administrators and faculty will prioritize reimagining our school model to better serve students and families.

ERATS staff will continue to plan ways to better meet the needs of our rural students and staff, both in education and mental health. We are excited to see where Transcend can take us!
